In 1909 the Paul J. Krez Company was founded to provide and install insulation products for buildings all over Chicago. Spray Insulations Inc. was added in 1965, moving the company into the Structural Steel Fireproofing and Spray Applied Insulation business. With the addition of Barrier Corp. in the late ’80s we began serving the Insulating Concrete Roof Deck and Floor Underlayment industry. In 2000 John Caretti & Co. was acquired to bring Terrazzo and Epoxy Floors to our clients, and in 2007 the Krez Group was created to hold these and all future acquisitions under a single name that the construction industry professionals know and trust.
